Run by volunteers. Here around the clock.
Established in early 2013, we were formed by a group of like-minded people who believed Scotland's animals needed access to help around the clock.
Everyone gives their time.
We are run entirely by volunteers. Our people are not paid for the time they give to the organisation.
That includes the volunteers who answer calls and messages, help coordinate cases, care for animals, support rescue work, investigate welfare concerns, assist at events and keep the organisation operating behind the scenes.
The right environment for the animal.
Animals in our care are accommodated across a number of appropriate sites in Scotland's Central Belt, including smallholdings, farms and estates. This gives access to different facilities, such as sheltered accommodation, paddocks and pens, so animals can be cared for in surroundings appropriate to their needs.
What we do
- Responds to animals in distress where circumstances allow.
- Supports domestic animals and wildlife with practical advice.
- Looks into concerns about animal welfare, cruelty and neglect.
- Cares for animals in suitable, controlled environments.
